Types of Acne
Although the term ‘acne’ is commonly used to describe pimples and lumps that appear on the skin’s surface, ‘acne’ is actually a condition that classifies a wide range of symptoms caused by over-active oil glands.
Acne appears in many shapes and forms, all of which vary in severity. Although acne is most often thought of as a condition that affects the face, it can actually affect just about anywhere on the body including the neck, chest, back, arms, legs and genital regions.
